And a blog is born.

Here is the concept: There are loads of people that would love to go  fishing in Alaska and/or head off on an adventure to explore Alaska. There are many ways to get there and places to experience. So many in fact that it can be overwhelming. The truth is that it can take a lifetime to experience all there is to experience. How does someone make the most of what may be their only (hopefully not) shot at visiting?

By getting lots of useful and current information all in one place (this blog) it will make the job much more enjoyable. The hope is to search the web, tap local and experienced Alaskan travelers, access offline data and get feedback from the blog visitors to create a community with all the information you will need to keep up with what is happening in the state and prepare for an Alaskan experience.
